Welcome! I'm Carrie, the photographer behind Three Little Birds Photography. I'm originally from Colorado but recently relocated to Lake Orion, MI with my husband, our 2 amazing daughters and our 2 crazy dogs. 

 

For as long as I can remember, I have loved taking pictures, but I truly began to explore and experiment with my camera when I had my first daughter in 2011. From day 1 (I'm not kidding...I had my camera in the hospital with me), I snapped photos of every detail, every milestone, every smile and also discovered that I loved taking pictures of those memories for others. As a result, Three Little Birds Photography was born!

 

I love capturing the relationships between family members. And while the perfectly posed shots where everyone is smiling and looking at the camera are lovely, my favorite moments are inevitably the ones that can't be planned. Laughter, Snuggles, hugs...That second that a Mom takes to smell her baby's hair (even if they are no longer babies) or that crazy acrobatic trick that only Dad can do with his kids. Those are the things that define families. That show who you really are. I work very hard to make our sessions fun, to give you those Hallmark moments but also to stand back and let your family be themselves because that's when the true magic happens. I look forward to working with your family and feel so privileged to be able to give you images that you will treasure for a lifetime!
